A variable in Data Hub refers to a timeseries. For example, if you have a smart meter, you might store multiple registers from the smart meter such as index, reactive power, consumption, etc...
Variables accounted can be coming from external system or the one calculated by the Data Hub as calculated variables.
SaaS, private cloud or on-premises
You can run the Data Hub on multiple environments. You can opt for the SaaS, private Cloud (on your cloud operator of choice) and on-premises.
The environment you choose will impact the hosting and maintenance costs.
Support
Data Hub has been built as a self-service solution; although you might need professional services, product expertise and onboarding and training.
Opinum can also offers advanced SLA for business critical use cases.
The level of support and SLA you want will impact the pricing.
